I love this quote. We are all looking for ‘home’. This isn’t just a place, it means learning to accept and be at peace with ourselves, even with our imperfections. There is ‘room for improvement’ in all of us and we are all in a process of changing, but it’s important we still love ourselves along the way.

It’s also vital to have other people with whom we don’t have to pretend to be anything other than who we are, and who will accept both the beautiful and the ugly parts of us. Better still are those people who can see beauty in us, even behind the ugliness, help us recognise this beauty in ourselves and gently draw it out into its full expression.
This is why I love to coach. There is beauty, creativity and powerful potential waiting to be expressed in every person, even those who haven’t yet recognised it fully in themselves.
